Who we are

Apna Society is developed by SkyLine Tech Ventures (https://skylinetv.in). On this page, "we" means SkyLine Tech Ventures.

Use this page if you have an Apna Society account and want that account deleted.

How to request deletion

Send the request from the email address or mobile number registered on your account. Use the form below, or email info@skylinetv.in with the subject "Delete my account".

Include:

  • Your full name
  • The email address and mobile number on the account
  • Your society, wing and flat number
  • The words "Delete my account"

Deletion request

What happens next

  • We confirm the request comes from the account holder.
  • We delete or anonymise the information listed below within 30 days of that confirmation.
  • We close the account so it cannot be used to sign in.
  • We confirm by email or message once it is done.

What we delete

After we verify the request, we delete or anonymise:

  • Your profile: name, email address, mobile number and username
  • Login and authentication data, including password and sign-in sessions
  • Device and notification tokens
  • Vehicle and parking details linked to you
  • Your name and contact details on visitor records (those records are anonymised)
  • Access to the app — the account is closed

What we may keep

Your society needs some records for its accounts. We may keep:

  • Financial transactions, including payments recorded against your flat
  • Maintenance bills and the amounts charged
  • Receipts
  • One-time collections and special charges
  • Society, wing and flat records that belong to the society, not to you personally
  • Anonymised visitor entry and exit logs, without your name, email or mobile number

Where we keep a financial record, we remove your name, email and mobile number when we can do so without breaking the society’s accounts.

How long we keep retained information

Financial records — bills, payments, receipts, one-time collections and special charges — are kept for 8 years from the date of the transaction. That is the period societies commonly need for accounts and Indian tax records.

After 8 years we delete those records, or keep them only without your name, email or mobile number.

Anonymised visitor entry and exit logs are kept for 12 months from the date of the visit, then deleted.
